I will be in Delhi between 20th and 26th of july. How can you be there from 18th to 24th? I thought all the Delhi programs started on mondays?

I will be in Palampur from July 26th until August 15th :) So it looks like we will be there together all the time :)

Independence day is celebrated 15th of August, so if you dont fly home too early you'll get to experience the festivities in New Delhi :) (if they have any, but I guess the ought to)

Oh yeh, i did mean 20th to the 26th. I wrote the 18th because that's the date the flight i was looking at leaves! 

Yeh, definitely looking forward to the independence day festivals. My brother's girlfriend lived in India for a few years and she said the festivals are amazing :)

It makes it a lot less scary speaking to people who will be out there at the same time, have any of you done volunteering in a foreign country before?

seems like i'm going to see some of you, at least for a while! i'll be doing a two week long project in Delhi since 25th July. if anyone's accepted for that period of time, please, feel free to share this secret :)

I will also be in Delhi for two weeks in that period, Emilia.
I'll be working in the Street Children Program. I was wondering in which programs all of you will be volunteering in Delhi?

For me it's the first time volunteering in a foreign country, so I'm also very excited!

I'll be part time teaching and part time in a childcare program in Palampur (becauseof school vacation during my stay). 

Susie - are you travelling by bus or flight when you go from Delhi to Palampur?

i'll be in the Street Children program as well, Lianne, so apparently we're going to meet and work together :) i've already participated in few projects abroad and i'm glad you're starting your adventure!

I haven't booked a flight from Delhi to palampur yet because i was planning on getting the bus, but I'm not entirely sure of the details on how to organise it. how about you?
